What's New: Foundation Repair Guide Has Been Rebuilt

Posted October 28, 2026

This site used to be a Texas-only referral site. It is now a national information guide, with no forms, no phone number and no contractor matching. Here is what changed.

What's here now

  • A nine-step path from "what is a foundation" to "keeping it from happening," with guides at every stage. Start on the home page.
  • 34 guides, each verified and showing a last-reviewed date.
  • A cost calculator that builds an estimate from published price ranges taken from verified, dated figures. See the calculator.
  • This blog, where seasonal checklists, answers to common questions and notes on changes to the guides will be posted.

What was removed

  • The Texas city pages, which were near-duplicates of each other.
  • The contact form and phone number. The site does not take leads or refer contractors.
  • Earlier price claims that were not tied to a named reference.

How the numbers are handled

Where references disagree, the site shows both. The cost guide lays out ranges from several publishers side by side, and the calculator uses verified figures. See how we verify for the standards.

Corrections

If a guide is wrong, out of date or missing a better reference, corrections and changes will be recorded here on the blog.
